is now up.  

The planetary motion is now returning to the night skies, Venus and Mars stay distinguished and shiny within the night skies. Mercury returns to the night twilight later within the month and can supply good viewing alternatives. Saturn climbs larger within the late night sky, whereas Jupiter dominates the morning sky. 

July 1-7; Venus is closest to Mars on the 1st and stays inside 4° for the primary week of July. July 3; Full Moon. July 5; Moon at perigee. July 6-7; the waning moon close to Saturn within the late night. July 9-12; Venus 1° from the intense star Regulus, being closest on the tenth. July 10; Final Quarter Moon. July 12; the waning Moon near Jupiter. July 15, Venus, Regulus and Mars make a gorgeous lineup. July 17; New Moon. July 18, Venus is at its closest to Regulus, when it’s 3.5° away. July 20; apogee Moon. July 21; A pleasant line-up of Venus, Regulus, Mars and the crescent Moon with Mercury beneath. July 26; First Quarter Moon. July 28-28; Mercury may be very shut the Regulus (lower than a finger-width). July 30; Southern Delta Aquariid meteor shower.

Mercury returns to the night sky mid-month and is (simply) seen within the nautical twilight from across the fifteenth. On the nineteenth Mercury is close to the skinny crescent Moon. On the twenty seventh and twenty eighth Mercury passes beneath Venus. From the twenty eighth to twenty ninth Mercury may be very near Regulus..

 

Venus begins to sink within the night sky this month however stays seen after astronomical twilight for a lot of the month. Venus additionally will increase in brilliance and reaches its biggest brilliance on the eighth. When it’s a clear crescent being one quarter illuminated. Jupiter climbs larger within the morning sky; it’s now excessive sufficient for telescopic statement. On the twelfth Jupiter can be 3 levels from the waning crescent moon.

Saturn continues to climb larger within the night skies forward of opposition subsequent month, it’s excessive sufficient to view comfortably within the late night, though it stays within the early morning skies. On the seventh, Saturn is close to to the waning moon within the late night skies.
