ESA astronaut Andreas Mogensen grew to become commander of the Worldwide House Station (ISS) on September 26, 2023, in a standard ceremony wherein the departing commander, Sergey Prokopyev, handed over the symbolic key of the House Station. Mogensen is the sixth European to tackle the function of ISS commander.
Mogensen will function commander for the remainder of his Huginn mission till early 2024. Throughout his command, he might be chargeable for overseeing the crew’s actions and guaranteeing the security and operation of the House Station.
