For the previous 24 years, Smith has lectured at nationwide and worldwide conferences, varied universities and co-lectured together with her mentors Budd Hopkins, John Mack, M.D. and David Jacobs, Ph.D.

In 1992, Smith based “Shut Encounters Analysis Group” (CERO), a help group for abductees and in January 2013 Smith launched “CERO Worldwide” whose mission is to “Examine, Educate and Assist” and to acknowledge and protect “Abductees’ Civil Rights”.
