On Saturday 21st October, the European Area Company opened the doorways of the European Area Astronomy Centre in Villanueva de la Cañada (close to Madrid), ESAC, to host the ESA Open Day. With a full program of talks and actions, the occasion featured excursions, hands-on laboratories for kids and get-togethers with science communicators, ESA astronaut and consultants. Greater than 1800 folks, amongst adults and kids, had the chance to deepen their data of the actions and applications through which ESA is concerned on daily basis.
