SpaceX’s Dragon spacecraft – carrying about 6,500 kilos of crucial science, {hardware}, and crew provides – is on its technique to the Worldwide Area Station following a profitable launch from NASA’s Kennedy Area Middle in Florida. The mission marks the ninth flight on the Business Resupply Companies-2 SpaceX contract and the second flight of this Dragon, which beforehand flew on NASA’s SpaceX twenty sixth resupply providers mission.

Dragon now could be safely in orbit, and its photo voltaic arrays have deployed. A collection of thruster firings will assist Dragon attain the area station at roughly 5:20 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 11.
