within the morning twilight and is near the intense star Spica. The inset is the telescopic view of Venus at
this time.

Entire sky on Saturday, December 2 as seen from Adelaide at 21:59 ACDST, 90 minutes after sundown (click on
to embiggen). Saturn is excessive within the north-west, and Jupiter is rising within the north-east.

Scorpius is nearly set and Sagittarius continues to be seen beneath the zenith heading in the direction of the western horizon. Orion is rising within the east.

Between the intense star
Canopus and the Southern Cross are one other wealth of binocular objects to

in Australia will see an identical view on the equal time (90 minutes after sundown).

 

Mercury climbs larger within the twilight.
