Comparable views can be seen from the remainder of Australia on the equal
native time (90 minutes after sundown).    

Night sky on Friday, December 22 as seen from Adelaide at 22:16 ACDST (90 minutes after sundown). Jupiter is near the waxing Moon.  The inset is the telescopic view of Jupiter at the moment. 

    

Comparable views can be seen from the remainder of Australia on the equal native time (90 minutes after sundown).

minutes after sundown). Asteroid Vesta is at apposition in Orion.  The inset
is the binocular view of Vesta at the moment. At magnitude 6.6 it will likely be a straightforward binocular object close to clear information begins.

Morning
sky on Saturday, December 23 as seen from Adelaide at 04:53 ACDST, (60
minutes earlier than dawn, click on to embiggen). Venus is starting to decrease
within the morning twilight and is heading in direction of Scorpius. The inset is the telescopic view of Venus at
this time.

    

Comparable views can be seen from the remainder of Australia on the equal native time (60 minutes earlier than dawn).   

 

Complete sky on Saturday, December 23 as seen from Adelaide at 22:17 ACDST, 90 minutes after sundown (click on
to embiggen). Saturn is setting within the north-west, and Jupiter is excessive within the north.Sagittarius is nearly set. Orion is rising within the east.

Between the brilliant star
Canopus and the Southern Cross are one other wealth of binocular objects to
uncover. 

 

   

 Elsewhere
in Australia will see an identical view on the equal time (90 minutes after sundown).

 

 

Mercury is misplaced within the twilight.

Venus is excessive within the morning twilight, it can now sink in direction of the horizon however will stay simply seen for all of November.

Mars is misplaced within the twilight. 

Jupiter is highest round nautical twilight and is now properly seen within the late night sky.Jupiter is near the waxing Moon on the twenty second,

Saturn is previous opposition however continues to be vivid and a worthwhile telescopic object.
