At 7:25 a.m. EST, the hatch closed between the Dragon spacecraft and the International Space Station in preparation for undocking and return to Earth of the Axiom Mission 3 (Ax-3) with astronauts Michael López-Alegría, Walter Villadei, Marcus Wandt, and Alper Gezeravci.
NASA Tv will air dwell protection resuming at 9 a.m. prematurely of the deliberate departure of Dragon with undocking about 9:20 a.m. and can proceed till about half-hour after undocking when joint operations with the Axiom and SpaceX mission groups ends.
At the moment’s undocking will start the Ax-3 mission’s journey dwelling with splashdown off the coast of Daytona, Florida, focused for roughly 8:30 a.m. EST Friday, Feb 9.
