Members of NASA’s SpaceX Crew-9 mission will spend the following two weeks in routine preflight quarantine on the company’s Johnson House Middle in Houston forward of their mission to the Worldwide House Station.

NASA and SpaceX have shifted the Crew-9 launch to no sooner than Wednesday, Sept. 25, to finish prelaunch preparations and guarantee separation between operations. Liftoff is focused for two:28 p.m. EDT from House Launch Advanced-40 at Cape Canaveral House Power Station in Florida aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket and Dragon spacecraft named Freedom. That is the primary time a human spaceflight mission will launch from the pad. Further launch alternatives can be found on Thursday, Sept. 26, Friday, Sept. 27, and Saturday, Sept. 28.

NASA astronaut Nick Hague, commander, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Aleksandr Gorbunov, mission specialist, will stay in isolation to forestall publicity to any sicknesses earlier than they be a part of the Expedition 72 crew on the area station. As a part of the Crew-9 crew, Hague and Gorbunov will be a part of NASA astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams, who arrived to the area station in June.
