The Hunter’s Moon was the biggest supermoon of the 12 months resulting from its proximity to Earth throughout its full moon section.

Later within the month, one other comet met a fiery finish because it disintegrated when it flew too near the solar. To finish the Halloween season, the sky handled us with a customer above an appropriately named landmark: a fireball over Lake Erie. 

Over 550 witnesses caught the apparition within the sky, which occurred on the night of Oct. 21, 2024.
