Planetary Society CEO Invoice Nye was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom. In a ceremony on Jan. 4, President Joe Biden awarded Invoice Nye america’ highest civilian honor to acknowledge his contributions to the nation and the world. The White Home’s statement mentioned, “Invoice Nye has impressed and influenced generations of American college students as ’Invoice Nye the Science Man.’ His dedication to science training continues by his work as CEO of The Planetary Society and as a vocal advocate for house exploration and environmental stewardship.”
Our members could make massive contributions as house advocates, too. At our annual Day of Motion, Planetary Society members come collectively in Washington, D.C., to talk with their representatives in Congress in regards to the significance of investing in house science and exploration.
