consuming. We had some flashlights (small). There have been no homes on the time, and it was pitch black. Simply the waves had been the one sound. Behind us had been the sand dunes.
Hastily, from above, a shiny mild shined down on us, and the seashore was lit up BRIGHTER than if it was daylight. It was like stadium lights had been lit up for so far as we might see. BUT it was SILENT.
My husband and I felt terror. We checked out each other and stated RUN, RUN, RUN. We grabbed one or two issues, ran in direction of the sand dunes (leaving most of our issues). Automobile was simply on the opposite facet of the dunes on the 2 lane highway that runs alongside the seashore.
As we crossed the massive dunes (a small go between 2 dunes) I regarded again. I could not see the place the sunshine was coming from. It was like a number of thousand watts turned on, lighting up the seashore. There have been no buildings, NOTHING on the market. We jumped into the automotive and I hysterically screamed GO GO GO….and we tore out within the WRONG path away from the place we lived, simply taking place the highway as quick as we might.
After a time, we circled and went again (solely solution to get again to pensacola ) and the seashore was darkish. We drove previous the realm and saved going. We by no means stopped. We turned on the radio and heard that there have been a lot of UFO sightings close to the realm.
We have now been haunted by this since 1982. I’m now 65 and my husband is 66. We thought perhaps it was one thing experimental from the air base there. BUT IT WAS SILENT. The sunshine got here from above us, however lit up the complete space like daylight. I needed to squint. I did not search for; I used to be afraid. Neither did my husband. I felt dread, that if we did not run, one thing horrible was going to occur, and so did he.
Have you ever ever had accounts like this? Is there somebody who might have skilled this. And no, it wasn’t shiny nights, wasn’t any type of environmental factor. This was some type of purposeful, brighter than day mild that was shone on us, from the sky. It did not transfer, did not change…..wasn’t a helicopter, or aircraft. SILENT.
Addendum
My husband and I virtually NEVER communicate of this. We did immediately. He tells me that he regarded up and the sunshine appeared to come back from behind us over the dunes. BUT, the sunshine was not pinpoint from a single supply. It was diffuse, which scared him much more. The sunshine was not from instantly over head. The dunes are roughly 15-20 ft excessive (or had been on the time) and so the sunshine emanated diffusely from a lot farther up than that. But it surely was so blinding, that he couldn’t see a supply. In his recollection, we ran throughout a minimize out within the dunes to the highway and jumped within the automotive. We by no means noticed ANYTHING above, round. We appeared alone apart from the very shiny stadium like lights lighting up the realm. It was so shiny that our eyes harm. We by no means noticed one other automotive as we drove away. And, it was darkish on the opposite facet of the dunes the place the automotive was. As we returned to the realm, we do recall that it was darkish. We slowed the automotive, and although we had left a number of objects, we did not return. No matter this was, was not one thing that we might clarify on this earth or with physics. My husband grew up on an airbase and was accustomed to all aeronautical sounds. I recall listening to NOTHING. I’m perplexed to this present day and infrequently marvel what would have transpired had we stayed.
