The New Moon is Friday February 28. Venus is turning into tougher to see low within the twilight,
and is near the skinny crescent Moon on the 2nd. Jupiter and Mars are seen within the night sky.   Jupiter is
previous opposition and is seen all night lengthy. The Moon is near Jupiter on the sixth. Mars is excessive within the
early night sky. 

The New Moon is Friday February 28. The moon is at apogee, when it’s furthest from the Earth, on the 2nd of March.

Western night
sky on Sunday, March 2 as seen from Adelaide at 20:24 ACDST (45 minutes
after sundown, click on to embiggen).   

Venus is seen within the early twilight. You have to a transparent, degree horizon to see Venus.  Venus is a skinny crescent in telescopes.

The inset is  the telescopic view of Venus right now.

Comparable views can be seen from the remainder of Australia on the equal native time (45 minutes after sundown).

 

North-western night
sky on Wednesday, March 6 as seen from Adelaide at 21:13 ACDST (90 minutes after sundown), Jupiter is within the north-west close to  the crimson star Aldebaran.

 

The inset is the telescope view of  Jupiter right now.  (click on to embiggen). 

 

 

Comparable views can be seen from the remainder of Australia at roughly the equal native time (90 minutes after sundown).

Northern sky on Saturday, March 1 as seen from Adelaide at 21:20 ACDST (90 minutes after sundown, click on to embiggen). Mars kinds a triangle with Castor and Pollux. 

 

The inset is the telescope view of  Mars right now.  (click on to embiggen).

   

 

 

Comparable views can be seen from the remainder of Australia at roughly the equal native time (90 minutes after sundown).

 

Entire sky on Saturday, Saturday, March 1 as seen from Adelaide at 21:20 ACDST, 90 minutes after sundown (click on
to embiggen). Venus has set.  Jupiter is within the north-west.  Mars is within the north. 

 

Orion  the hunter is excessive within the north.

 

The Southern Cross is rising within the Southern sky.  The moon is new and the fainter clusters and nebula will seen.     

 

 Elsewhere
in Australia will see the same view on the equal time (90 minutes after sundown).

 

 

Mercury is misplaced within the night twilight.

Venus is reducing within the night twilight and is turning into tougher to see. 

Mars is excessive within the night sky. Mars was at opposition, when it’s greatest and brightest as seen from Earth, on January the sixteenth. 

Jupiter is excessive within the the north-western night sky when the sky is totally darkish.

Saturn is misplaced within the twilight.
