Meet Arnaud Prost—aerospace engineer, skilled diver, and member of ESA’s Astronaut Reserve. From flying plane to getting a style of spacewalk simulation, his ardour for exploration is aware of no bounds.

On this miniseries, we take you on a journey via the ESA Astronaut Reserve, diving into the primary a part of their Astronaut Reserve Coaching (ART) on the European Astronaut Centre (EAC) close to Cologne, Germany. Our “ARTists” are immersing themselves in all the pieces from ESA and the Worldwide House Station programme to the European house business and establishments. They’re gaining hands-on expertise in technical expertise like spacecraft programs and robotics, alongside human behaviour, scientific classes, scuba diving, and survival coaching.
