NASA, Axiom Area, and SpaceX are concentrating on no sooner than 8:22 a.m. EDT on Tuesday, June 10, for launch of the fourth non-public astronaut mission to the Worldwide Area Station, Axiom Mission 4. This shift permits groups to account for predicted inclement climate in the course of the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket and Dragon spacecraft transport along with finishing last processing of the spacecraft forward of launch.
Peggy Whitson, former NASA astronaut and director of human spaceflight at Axiom Area, will command the industrial mission, whereas ISRO (Indian Area Analysis Organisation) astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla will function pilot. The 2 mission specialists are ESA (European Area Company) venture astronaut Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski of Poland and Tibor Kapu of Hungary.
The crew will elevate off aboard Dragon on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Launch Advanced 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Area Middle in Florida.
