China reveals off superior hypersonic missiles, ICBMs and drones in army parade (photographs)

China supplied a glimpse of its rising army may in a parade in Beijing on Wednesday (Sept. 3), displaying off new hypersonic and intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICMBs) and drone techniques.

One weapon on display with a space-related capability was the HQ-19, a midcourse ballistic missile defense interceptor that may also be used to target objects in low Earth orbit (LEO) such as satellites.
