A morning planet dance 16-23 April, 2026

The New Moon is Sunday, June 18. Earth is at Solstice on the twenty second. Saturn is now rising round 11 pm native time and is excessive within the morning sky above Jupiter. On the 14th the Moon is simply above Jupiter and on the fifteenth slightly below. Venus is outstanding from the night twilight to early night and comes nearer to Mars. On the twenty first the crescent Moon, Venus and Mars make a line, and on the twenty second the trio make a triangle.

The New Moon is Sunday, June 18.  Earth is at Solstice, when the night time is longest, on the twenty second

Morning sky on Thursday, June 15 as seen from Adelaide at 06:25 ACST, (60 minutes earlier than dawn, click on to embiggen). Saturn is excessive within the sky above Jupiter and Mercury. The crescent Moon is under Jupiter. Mercury is low to the horizon close to the Hyades and Pleiades. The inset is the telescopic view of Jupiter right now.

Night sky on Thursday, June 22 as seen from Adelaide at 18:42 ACST, 90 minutes after sundown (click on
to embiggen). Venus,  Mars and the crescent Moon type a triangle which can match inside a medium energy binocular discipline. The inset is the telescopic view of Venus right now.

Complete sky on Saturday, June 17 as seen from Adelaide at 18:42 ACST, 90 minutes after sundown (click on
to embiggen). Mars is seen above the north western horizon and Venus is slightly below.

Orion the Hunter, is setting on the western horizon whereas Sirius remains to be outstanding low within the western sky. Scorpius is quickly seen in within the east.

Between the brilliant star
Canopus and the Southern Cross are one other wealth of binocular objects to
uncover. With the Moon being new this is a wonderful time to watch them.

   

 Elsewhere
in Australia will see the same view on the equal time (90 minutes after sundown).

 

Mercury is heading in the direction of the horizon within the morning twilight, and is under Jupiter.  Because the week goes on Mercury leaves Jupiter behind and is misplaced within the morning twilight by the top of the week.

Venus climbs nonetheless larger in the twilight coming nearer to Mars. On the twenty first the crescent Moon, Venus and mars make a line, and on the twenty second the trio make a triangle.

Jupiter is outstanding within the morning sky, with Mercury under it. Because the week goes on Jupiter climbs larger within the morning twilight leaving Mercury behind. On the fifteenth the skinny crescent Moon is under Jupiter.

Saturn climbs larger within the morning skies and is rising round 11 pm native time.
