Funchal, Madeira’s capital, could be seen as a big, light-brown space on the island’s southeast coast, on the decrease slopes of mountains that attain 1200 m. The runway of Madeira’s airport is seen on the east coast.

The slim Desertas Islands on the backside are additionally designated as a pure reserve.
