Once we consider Jupiter-type planets, we often image huge cloud-covered worlds orbiting removed from their stars. That distance retains their risky gases from vaporizing from stellar warmth, much like what we’re aware of in our photo voltaic system. So, why are so many exoplanets generally known as “sizzling Jupiters” orbiting very near their stars? That is the query astronomers ask as they research extra of those excessive worlds.
