Western night

Mercury is effectively
above the western horizon on the finish of civil twilight, and continues to be
seen at astronomical twilight an hour and a half after sundown.
Mercury has moved away the intense star Regulus and Venus is coming nearer, forming a triangle with Mercury and Regulus.

Comparable views can be seen from the remainder of Australia on the equal native time (45 minutes after sundown). 

Western night
sky on Tuesday, August 6 as seen from Adelaide at 18:35ACST (60 minutes
after sundown, click on to embiggen).   

Mercury is effectively
above the western horizon on the finish of civil twilight, though fading
it’s nonetheless seen at astronomical twilight an hour and a half after
sundown. Venus is simply previous its closest to the intense star Regulus. The
crescent Moon types a triangle with the three. 

 

 

Comparable views can be seen from the remainder of Australia on the equal native time (45 minutes after sundown). 

The jap sky at 23:00 ACST Saturday, August with Saturn rising. Saturn is now fairly excessive above the horizon for viewing.

sky on Saturday, August 3 as seen from Adelaide at 06:11 ACST (60 minutes earlier than dawn), Mars and Jupiter are readily seen. Mars is coming nearer to Jupiter and types a triangle the pink star Aldebaran.

Complete sky on Saturday, August 3 as seen from Adelaide at 19:03 ACST, 90 minutes after sundown (click on

Canopus and the Southern Cross are a wealth of binocular objects to
uncover. The fainter clusters at the moment are seen with the Moon gone from the sky.

and is closest on the fifth. On the sixth the crescent Moon, Regulus,
Mercury and Venus kind a triangle within the night twilight.

Mars is rising within the morning sky however is heading in the direction of Jupiter.

Jupiter is rising within the the morning twilight sky. Jupiter is under the pink star Aldebaran.

Saturn climbs larger within the late night sky.
