The article in query appears like a synthetic piece of glass or eventual a mirror, (the contours of the glass/mirror are clearly seen), partially situated behind a rock formation.
The truth that it might be a mirror is as a result of the reflection within the mirror appears to indicate part of what seems to be a metallic rectangular object what lies in entrance of the mirror.

Each the glass/mirror and the metallic object appear to be remnants of one thing both deserted or wrecked way back. They clearly don’t belong to the rover’s gear or any recognized NASA gear.
