At 9:29 p.m. EST, over 6,000 kilos of scientific investigations and cargo launched to the Worldwide House Station on the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft for the corporate’s thirty first business resupply providers mission for NASA. The spacecraft lifted off on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Launch Advanced 39A at NASA’s Kennedy House Middle in Florida.
About 9 minutes after launch, Dragon will separate from the rocket’s second stage, open its nosecone, and start a rigorously choreographed collection of thruster firings to achieve the area station.
Dragon will arrive on the orbiting outpost at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5, and dock autonomously to the ahead port of the area station’s Concord module.
