Gentry Lee, the licensed Corridor of Famer engineer from NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory and distinguished science fiction creator, is getting his time highlight in a brand new documentary on his life launching on the SXSW 2025 Movie Competition in Austin this weekend.
Written and directed by award-winning filmmaker Robert Stone, “Starman” is an 85-minute exploration of Lee’s expertise working within the enviornment of interplanetary exploration because the Chief Engineer for the Photo voltaic System Exploration Directorate on the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California, and we have got an unique clip from the inspiring documentary to share above.

For over half a century, legendary NASA engineer and best-selling science fiction creator Gentry Lee has explored each facet of this query within the realms of house science, robotic exploration and the human creativeness.
