Russian area officers on Tuesday aborted the check launch of a brand new heavy-lift rocket from its far-eastern launch pad.

The Angara-A5 rocket was scheduled to carry off from the Vostochny area launch facility at 0900 GMT Tuesday, however the launch was aborted two minutes earlier than.

Yuri Borisov, head of Roscosmos state area company, mentioned the automated security system canceled the launch after registering a flaw within the oxidizer tank pressurization system.

He mentioned the following launch try was set for Wednesday.
