NASA’s Perseverance was scanning the rim of Jezero Crater when it noticed a Martian mud satan overtake and devour one other smaller one. The rover was a couple of kilometer away from the bigger mud satan, which was about 65 meters broad. The smaller one was about 5 meters broad. This is not Perseverance’s first encounter with mud devils. It is seen clusters dancing round it and even captured audio of a mud satan on Mars for the primary time.
