Shiny Canopus and Sirius are rising, together with Orion. The galactic core is setting within the western sky.

 

The
Southern Cross is low within the Southern sky.  The moon is new and
the fainter clusters and nebula are simpler to see.    

 

 

 

   

Elsewhere
in Australia will see an identical view on the equal time (90 minutes after sundown).

  

Mercury is simply seen within the twilight. It’s close to the crescent Moon on the 198th.

Venus is misplaced within the twilight glow. 

Mars is misplaced within the twilight. 

Jupiter climbs within the morning twilight and is now rising round astronomical twilight. Jupiter kinds a barely battered line with the brilliant stars Castor, Pollux and Procyon. 

Saturn is the brightest object within the north-western skies.
