NASA astronauts Jessica Meir and Jack Hathaway, ESA (European Area Company) astronaut Sophie Adenot, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Andrey Fedyaev, and their SpaceX Dragon spacecraft have reached orbit, and the nosecone has opened. 

The crew will spend roughly the following 34 hours to rendezvous and dock with the Worldwide Area Station.  

A postlaunch information convention shall be held at 6:45 a.m. EST on the company’s Kennedy Area Middle in Florida with the next contributors: 

  • NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman
  • Daniel Neuenschwander, ESA Director of Human and Robotic Exploration
  • Steve Stich, supervisor, Industrial Crew Program, NASA Kennedy 
  • Dana Weigel, supervisor, Worldwide Area Station Program, NASA Johnson 
  • Julianna Scheiman, director, NASA Science and Dragon Packages, SpaceX

NASA will air the postlaunch information convention on the company’s YouTube channel.  

Comply with alongside Crew-12’s journey posted on the mission weblog, @NASAKennedy and @spacestation on X, or NASA Kennedy and International Space Station on Fb.

The flight is the twelfth crew rotation with SpaceX to the orbiting laboratory as a part of NASA’s Industrial Crew Program. Crew-12 will conduct scientific investigations and know-how demonstrations to assist put together people for future exploration missions to the Moon and Mars, in addition to profit individuals on Earth.
