For ESA astronaut Sophie Adenot, her first steps into house have been solely the start.
In lower than 15 days, she carried out three extravehicular actions, or EVAs, spending 19 hours and 42 minutes outdoors the Worldwide House Station.
Throughout three demanding spacewalks, Sophie and her crewmates changed essential Station {hardware}, put in a brand new communications antenna, carried out upkeep, and ready experiments for future work, all whereas adapting to the challenges of working within the excessive atmosphere of house.
