The Large Wheel galaxy shaped 2 billion years after the massive bang

A newly-discovered spiral galaxy, dubbed the Large Wheel, shaped simply 2 billion years after the massive bang – far earlier, contemplating its measurement, than astronomers thought potential.
Themiya Nanayakkara, at Swinburne College of Know-how in Melbourne, Australia, says the invention was an accident. He and his colleagues have been on the lookout for quasars, energetic areas on the coronary heart of some galaxies, with the James Webb House Telescope in November 2022 when a “massive spiral galaxy popped up”.
